First Introduced to Massage at the age of 13 and again at 25 following a car accident. The seed then planted for education in the field of Massotherapy and other forms of bodywork such as Reflexology, Trigger Point Therapy, and Myofascial Release. She received Certification from the Ohio College of Massotherapy in1988 and licensure by the Ohio State Medical Board in 1989. Associate of Applied Science Degree in 2005 after which she became an instructor at OCM until 2014. Lisa is also a Reiki MasterTeacher and holds a Four Year Eden Energy Medicine Advanced Practitioner Certification, In December 2015 she graduated from the American Institute of Alternative Medicine with a Masters in Acupuncture. Her additional studies include: CranioSacral, Polarity, Strain/CounterStrain, Prenatal and Geriatric Massage, Accupressure, Shiatsu, Sports Massage, Manual Lymph Drainage, Watsu and Cupping. A student of psychology and theology Lisa brings a holistic approach to her work of mind, body, and spirit incorporating the Five Element Theory, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), and The Emotion Code. Lisa owned and operated Restoring Touch, Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork in Brecksville, Ohio for 32 years before moving to Florida. Although primarily focused on pain management, and sports massage, as a forever student Lisa has honed her skills to provide the most effective and personalized massage experience for each individual to promote healing, restore balance, and aide prevention. She looks forward to working with you.
